First and foremost: I spent hours today reading this story while I was supposed to be working. This is perhaps one of the best HP fics I've read... ever. Your imagination is much like that of JKR's. Everything in this story was just so plausible. I was completely engrossed in your words - everything is just so perfect and I'm in love. The pieces all fit together and the references back to books previous made the plot all that more believable. Some authors try to write their own versions of the way things will ultimately turn out and, for me, their stories just fall flat and seem rushed and fixate only on the Draco/Harry (et al) relationship that they are building up after the carnage of war has subsided. But this wasn't rushed; instead it was well-developed and realistic and just... phenomenal. I'm gushing and it sounds pathetic so I'll wrap things up now. I love love love this and I the second after I submit this review I am going to track down all of your other work. Kudos! |

| Wow, that was fantastic! It was so gutwrenching and well done that it was an almost physical effort to read... I kept holding my breath and tensing! I really liked the not so happy ending too. Great Job! |

| I'm crying. I just want to say that was just so beautifully written with such a realistic quality to it and even though I'm crying I fucking love the ending and wouldn't trade it for a happier one because it makes so much more real and breathtaking and so many writers stop and can't write the sad ending and cop out but this-this is just ... no words to describe. I can't even tell you why I'm crying except just a rush of emotion-sadnessjoydespairwonderawe-overwhelming really. I've read so many after-war stories that gloss over the war or go AU because they don't want to attempt to pick up where the sixth book left off so I saw you've got balls for writing this and posting it and you did a wonderful job. As much as I'd love a sequel I'm happy enough with just this |
